Sahlgrenska University Hospital has accepted to be the centre for all medical issues; it’s just situated 10 minutes away from all arenas.

The department of Transplantation is according to Michael Olausson, Professor and Lars Bäckman, Associate Professor of Transplantation Unit at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, willing and able to assist in evaluating the medical records of athletes participating in the WTG, all according to the instructions from WTGF.

Emergency services, local teams of medical staff and the coordination of ambulance services will be taken care of by the Chief Physician of Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Ingemar Wickström in cooperation with Emergency services in Göteborg, Annika Hedelin. Mrs Hedelin has indicated it might be of local political interest to assist in the WTG activities at a low or no fee.

The PKMC, the pre hospital and emergency centre, has been informed about the planned activities. The Centre has immense experience from previous events in Göteborg.
