Petanque
Location
The
Petanque tournament will be played at Slottsskogens Petanque Club
close to the Athletics arena Slottsskogsvallen. The club has 16
lanes.
Rules
The
competition is played in a “Round Robin” format in the first
round. The groups will consist of 3 or 4 players in each group where
everyone meets everyone within the groups.
After the “Round Robin”
competition, the winner, in the group of three players, and the
winner and second placed player, in the groups of 4 players, goes on
to play the “Knock out” competition.
Matches plays first to 13
wins.
There
will also be a doubles tournament. Same rules apply.
The
Petanque tournament of the WTG 2011 will be played by the rules set
by The International Petanque Federation
