Opening and Closing Ceremony
Opening and Closing Ceremony will be held at public places in the city centre. This is to engage the citizens of Göteborg in the spirit of the Games.
Donor Family appreciation
There will be an interreligious manifestation with participation of all major religions in the Cathedral of Göteborg.
A tree will be planted in memory of all those living and deceased donors who by giving of themselves gave others the options of good lives.
Emergency services, local teams of medical staff and the coordination of ambulance services will be taken care of by staff of Sahlgrenska University Hospital in cooperation with Emergency services in Göteborg.
Sahlgrenska University hospital, Northern Europe´s largest hospital, has a major transplant institute.
The PKMC, the pre hospital and emergency centre, has been informed about the planned activities. The Centre has immense experience from previous events in Göteborg.
