The Swedish team in the World Transplant Games 2011 won the gold medal in floorball last Sunday. World Transplant Games is an international sporting event for transplant athletes. From the 17th to the 24th of June, Göteborg and Region Västra Götaland host the international games, which have more than thousand participants from 54 countries.

After a very exciting final Sweden succeded in taking home the victory against Finland, with 5 goals against 4. Finland won the silver while the bronze medal went to the United Kingdom.
